BIS MAGAZINE/The BIS Guide/BIS Guide to..... SangríaThis month, we proudly present the BIS Guide to ..... Spanish sangría! Impress your friends with wonderful homemade sangria…
So here is the recipe… Ingredients to make one jug: 1 bottle of cheap read wine. 1 bottle of lemonade or soda. diced and peeled apples. diced and peeled peaches. Ice cube. Cinnamon. Sugar. Southern Comfort, Martini,Vermouth or Similar.
Mix the red wine and lemonade depending on how strong you want to make it. Normally it is 2 parts wine to 3 parts lemonade. Add approx. 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir. Add a dash of Southern Comfort or similar. Prepare the sangria ten minutes before the required serving time, if not the fruit becomes too soft and soaked in alcohol, making it extremely potent.
